Obviously yes in a private room where you control the light.

At some hattenba I have been to certain rooms are light enough for discrete filming. Be sure to ask for the "models" permission. Komaken has a sunlit deck open much of the year, the TV lounge is well lit there also, as are the couches between the T.V. Room and the 1st futon room on the 3rd floor.
